How many templates can I choose from, and how customisable are they?
This service doesn't have multiple templates, it's one design that's been created to suit the needs of all Local Councils. There is, of course, the ability to put your own council's personality into the site with a choice of primary colours, homepage images, and links to make it your own.
The reason behind not having template options is it increases cost, and we'd rather focus on making one truly fit-for-purpose design using GOV.UK design principles rather than many compromised templates. This results in a better experience for you and your residents viewing the website.
