File Upload

Overview

File upload allows you to input ESRI Shapefile or Mapinfo Tab files into your XMAP database. 

Only an administrator can complete this action.

Notes
Please Note: this function is not available in Parish Online accounts.


How to upload files

To upload your ESRI Shapefile or Mapinfo Tab  files:

  1. Open XMAP in your browser and log in as administrator.
  2. Access the admin panel by clicking on the Cog icon, situated in the top-right of the XMAP window.
  3. Click the option 'Data' from the left-hand menu.
  4. Select 'File Upload' from the left-hand menu. This option will be located underneath the 'Data' option.
  5. Drag and drop your file into the XMAP browser window and press 'Upload'. This will upload your data to your XMAP account's database.
