Editing Collections

Overview

If you need to edit a collection, you can do so through the collections tab of the administration panel.

This action can only be undertaken as the XMAP account's administrator.




Editing Collection Name or Description

To edit the name or description for a Collection:

  1. Go to XMAP Admin Panel
  2. Click on Collections
  3. Click on the name of the Collection you'd like to edit.
  4. Click the edit (pen) icon above the Collection list.
  5. Edit the name and description as required.
  6. Click Save.


Any changes will be visible to users when they next login.


Editing Collection Layers

To edit the contents of a Collection:

  1. Follow steps 1 to 3 above
  2. Click on the edit (pen) icon in the top right of the screen (above where the list of layers are)
  3. Use the arrows to move layers in or out of the Collection
  4. Once finished, click the Save button in the top right of the Admin window


Notes

If you're unable to edit a Collection it may be because it's being shared to you from another XMAP Account. Contact support if you think one should be changed.
