Duplicate emails in Outlook sent folder
Overview
If you have IMAP enabled and use Outlook as your mail application then you may experience seeing duplicate emails in your outbox.
Don't worry, it's not sending the emails twice, and there's a way to fix it.
Method
- Go to Account Settings
- Select the mailbox in the list under the Email tab
- Click Change
- Click More Settings
- Click on the Sent Items tab
- Select the "Do Not Save Copies of Sent Items" button
- Click OK
- Click Next to finish editing the mailbox settings and close.
