Adding Layers to Collections

Summary: 

This short article will walk you through adding a layer into a collection. 

Adding Layers into a Collection:

In the Collections section click on the collection name you want to add the layer into, or create a new Collection for the layer. (see Article Adding a Collection).

  1. On the right of the screen click on the LAYERS tab. This will list all the available layers to be to added into the Collection. Search for the layer - You can click on TYPE:ALL to change the Type of data listed (ALL, LAYER, BASE) and/or OWNER:SHARED to change the who the owner of the data is (ALL, SHARED, OWNED).  Alternatively you can search for a layer.
  2. Click on the layer you want to add into the collection and it will move over into the SELECT LAYERS panel. 
  3. Click back to the GENERAL tab, to rearrange the ordering of the layers if you so wish. 
  4. Click on the SAVE icon top right of the window. 

IMPORTANT:

If you have created a new collection and added layers into it, then you will have to update one or more PROFILES adding the new collection to it.
