The Somerset Friday Parish Online Banter group this week found a shared current issue; access problems in our streets.  This included dropped kerbs, raised bus stops to allow wheelchair access onto buses, dimpled pavements etc. The problem is, we dont know where they all are (or where they aren’t but should be)

Two suggestions emerged. One was that there must be, in our Highways departments, maps of all these things and it would be very helpful to us in the villages if we had access to such maps.  And secondly, it would also be useful if, for our own mapping, we had a few symbols that we could use to indicate when we plot where all these points are, and what they are.
