Currently there is no way to tell the scale of the map in use.  Once determined, then it would also be a great help to be able to zoom directly to that same scale in future (very useful when comparing two maps, one of whose scale you know)

So, please could we a) have the scale in use indicated (say, on the bottom row of the PO screen?)?

                                   b) a way to jump to a specific scale when desired?
